[here Cas, have a gun pointed at you as he spins around. He sees who it is though and releases the breath he was holding]

Sorry. I did not mean to startle you.

[likely_evil]

[Sam lowers the gun and rests it on the table, then rubs at his eyes]

Dean joked about putting a bell on you, you know. To keep us from being startled.

[sitherequietly]

[Cas does not understand what a bell would accomplish. They would still be startled, but instead of the sound of his own voice, it would be the sound of the bell. So he moves on to a more pertinent topic.]

You do not look well, Sam.

I just haven't been sleeping well, that's all. Have a seat.

[there's a spare chair next to him, which he motions for Cas to sit down in]

Everything okay with you?

[sitherequietly]

Fine. I do not like that I cannot leave this place.

[he wants to get OUT. He wants to get back to the things that he's broken.]

I can help you sleep.

I don't think anyone likes the fact they can't leave here. So you're not alone.

[stifles a yawn]

The sleep part isn't the hard part. It's the nightmares that I get when I do.

[his head tips to the side just slightly]

Have you dreamed when I induced sleep in the past?

I never really paid attention. Sometimes though, I'm only out for a few minutes.

[frowns as he considers that]

I believe I might be able to augment the process so that you do not.

[Sam thinks for a moment. He's not sure Angel-induced sleep is the real long term answer, but go he was tired and it didn't help him keep Lucifer from sitting at the table next to him, flipping through was looked like a karma sutra and giving a running commentary on each position]

Is it possible?

I believe it is worth a try. Long term sleep deprivation cannot be healthy for you, Sam.

[Sam thought for a moment, then sighed and nodded ,closing the book in front of him.]

Well, if we're going to do this, I would rather sleep in a bed and not in the library.

[nods, as he starts to reach for Sam's shoulder to take them to Sam's room.]

[he quickly gathers his stuff up first because not leaving his bag behind]
