I love the way you structure your stories, beginning with the initial paragraph. Your stories are always so creative; I look forward to them each week. The ending, with the faerie turned into a crocodile, was great.

Thanks! One of the things I really enjoy about writing these, but which I also feel like is risky, is to tell them in a way that's kind of deliberately terrible. "Once upon a time there was a child named Bertold," and then go off on what appears to be an enormous tangent and not mention him again until almost the end.

I'm glad you enjoyed the end - I think Calistophan is the first faerie to survive one of these in quite some time, even if he did have to end up a crocodile to manage it. = )
