Well, finally, after months of resources hunting, I present to you:
ASEAN nations profiles!

#1 I am by anyway not declaring myself as an expert in history field or something, well I'm not even a student from history or international relations major! I made these profiles and charts based from my limited research and observations from books, internet, and rl, therefore, the possibilities of errors and mistakes are feasible.
If you do find mistakes though, then by all means do kindly correct me.
Please take it like a grain of salt, I have no intentions to criticize any actual countries. (Just like to imagine them as human personalities and interact to each other just like normal people).
#2 This ASEAN series is basically inspired by Himaruya's Axis Powers Hetalia series, and I borrowed Thailand and Vietnam character design from the canon ones already made by him, the rest 8 nations are original character nations by me.

A secluded and conservative nation, she's known for her attitude of being calm and discreet.
In fact, she's so quiet that whenever other nations are talking to her, they automatically lower their voice too.
Apparently she's quite rich due to many oil reserves that she has in her house.

A hot blooded and proud nation with great
cultures hidden within his soil.
He has a glorious past as a wealthy kingdom in Indochina region, but now he's so poor he needs other nations' support to keep him running.
This wounds his pride so much he can't forgive himself.
For some reason, he really dislike Thailand and keep a distance
from his neighbor, Vietnam.

At the past he's rolling as the biggest empire in Southeast Asia and roaming around the sea across to Australia till Madagascar,
but now he's a laid back nation who likes to enjoy life
and works at his own pace.
He's quite a religious man yet also likes
mystical things at the same time.
Boasting as the land of thousand colors due to huge range of diverse cultures in his place, but sometimes, he has a
difficult time managing all of them.
He tends to be underrated a lot by other nations and the ring of fire around his house often giving him hard times too.

He's a humble nation who doesn't like to stand up much among his ASEAN peers and practically quite a shy and introverted boy.

underneath his shy appearance?
He shares similar cultures with Thailand, but he's not really close to him.

He's a very religious and uptight nation, but who would have thought that he's actually a hot passionate man behind the sarong?

Once she was a shy but determined young nation who occasionally got picked on by her neighboring countries, now she's a super gruff nation whose stubborn attitudes often makes her ASEAN counterparts
(and the rest of the world) dizzy.
She holds a lot of secret within her and doesn't talk much to others, but behind her stern and intimidating exterior, there's actually a very sensitive, tender soul inside.

A firm nation who, despite her house being constantly hit with problems, is still managed to keep her warm smile for everyone.

but when she really gets mad, she could throw some scenes!
America and Japan are her idols, in fact she really adores them to the point she's almost become some kind of fujoshi.
She loves cute things and takes karaoke to a much higher level than the average nations.

(Rumor has it that he hires a 'special squad' to clean and brush up his city every morning).
He's also good at managing money and business.
Desperately wants to have nothing to do with his neighbors, Malaysia and Indonesia, but unfortunately he can't escape from them.

Namely the land of smile, he is indeed an easy going nation who likes to entertain others and always smile in most occasions.
His cooking is so famous it makes most foreigners believe that every exotic spices and seasonings from Southeast Asia
must be coming from Thailand.
His hobbies include cooking, cultivating, and cross dressing. He's also quite open with his 'down under' business compared to his ASEAN friends and he loves his king so much.

A very brave and determined girl, she's managed to drive out every power who's messing in her house and her endurance is amazing.
She's a hard working nation and has a great passion to pursue higher education and better economy for her household.
She also has a strong agriculture root and loves to spend her free time in her rice fields.

* Myanmar is an exception though, because she's basically going on "Well, you guys sure are valuable allies, but I prefer not to indulge much with lots of you kthxbye," to all of them.....perhaps I'm wording it too harsh, though.... ^ ^;
Oh! But I suspect she actually has soft spot for Laos, since he's the less noisy one to her compares with her other peers, lol.
One more thing! Well, some of you might have seen this, but here's a full body sketches I did for them.
I did mention that I made the place setting in Hetalia Gakuen AU before, right?

[EDIT] II Adding the age appearances for them, since I set it in Gakuen AU, I range them between 14-19, though if you ask me, I actually rather confuse how to 'age' them, due to their long histories. -_-;
