I'm pretty lazy about shaving my legs, I don't even do my arms (but that hair is soft and not very dark) although I'm pretty militant about my underarms lol. But that's because I wear jeans every single day, and generally if I'm planning on wearing capri pants or the extremely rare skirt, I'll shave my legs
( ... )
I find that if you get your man to... not shave, but trim his armpit hair, then he will SMELL LESS.
I don't always shave my legs but I can't not shave my armpits, it's so gross! I like to give my... 'lady area' a trim every once in a while as well. And EYEBROWS... and upper lip!!! And rogue hairs that grow in strange places >.<
Being hairy is just icky.
I too have Palmer's Cocoa Body Butter... But now I want the coconut one too!!! And I've seen they have an olive one as well, have you tried it? What is it like?
Have you tried laser? It's about $70 for a 5minute treatment but it's the best thing I spent my money on last year! (That and buying an epilator)
I never feel comfortable shaving because when I was little my mum would drum into my head that shaving would make your hair grow back coarser. Rubbish of course, but the guilt has remained ever since.
I believe, too, that a woman does have the choice to be either hairy and to be shaved. And I also believe that I simply do look MUCH better in my summer-dress with clean legs that are shiny in the summer-sun when shaved. I used to think like those feminists before a couple of (many) years and I came to the conclusion, that feminists are women and men, who don't know what they want. Fact is, a feminist will tell you that a woman should be equal to a man in every kind of situation in life, but how does a feminist woman look when her date doesn't open the door or for her on the first date in the restaurant? ... She's not so very amused. So I think that all that talk about feminism is just rant. Certainly there are unfair situations like in your job when your male co-worker earns 100$ more than you but for the same job. That is ugly and there is equality supposed to take place. Understanding that this issue is unfair doesn't make you a feminist though.
