I would say he definitely asked you. :) "Taking you to dinner" equals... date. To me. Also, dates are really just chances to see how well you get along with/like someone. So... yeah! You can just go and see how it goes either way. Yay for nice boys! Who like you!

yeah, haha. i think i'm the same way as you. i never really know what's "normal" for friends and what counts as a date... but i agree with them. (*points upwards*) dinner, parties, paying for expensive things... definitely sounds like he likes you! :D
