Author's Note: Watching "Doomsday" again has given me som any ideas, this is just one of what came of that.
Ghosts
Martha looked across the console and smiled at The Doctor. He smiled back at her and went back to concentrating on steering the TARDIS.
It was uncanny, but it was something he would never admit to her. Martha looked so much like her cousin Adeola. The Doctor did not like to think on the destruction of Torchwood, or Canary Wharf.
He also did not like to think on how it had been him and his sonic screwdriver that technically killed Adeola. He would never admit that to Martha either.
“Penny for your thoughts?” she asked.
“Oh, nothing.” He wanly smiled.
