Gwen just looked at Rhys, holding the thing in her fingertips. “Rhys? Love? Are you sure?”
“I thought it would help spice things up,” Rhys said, putting his arm around her waist.
“Yeah, but sweetheart-” She paused, looking at his crestfallen face. “It’s just… last week we had this thing with a green octopus, and now…” She put the toy down on the sofa and kissed her gorgeous husband. “I’m sorry.”
“I understand,” Rhys said. “Bloody Torchwood fouling things up again.”
“Really Rhys? A tentacle vibrator?”
“I was trying for something different,” Rhys replied, his face red.
