Poem: Her Immortal

Aug 12, 2009 14:42

Another poem. Some of you may have seen this, some of you may have not.

Her Immortal

In darkness
he moves
languid and unseen.
A whisper by her ear,
a quickening of a pulse.
Flushing heat
rising from her bosom
to her eyes
that see not him,
but knows he’s there.
A touch of air
against her fair skin.
His presence surrounds her.
Her lips part,
mouth unable to utter
a divine word.
She will be his,
forever to eternity.
All with one kiss,
one sweet kiss.
Her life to his,
Eternal.
