So, I'm taking it this is the post that you will add onto for the year of 2008? You should link to your list from 2007. I'd like to see it.

Done.

I wanted to reach fifty, but did not.

Seeing as you were a busy little Aviary, I'm sure we can all forgive this.

I always start out the year with the intentions of documenting every book I read, but I fail to follow through. This is partly to blame on my laptop dying in June.

I just simply...forget. I added two last night that I'd read and forgotten to post, and I'm sure there's a few more. It makes me a bit sad that I haven't always done this because so often I think "there was that book I read, where this happens, about these people..." and I don't remember what it was called, who it was by, or when I read it.

You should, in fact, count those book started and completed after January 1st. I mean that doesn't really affect this one, but it makes it feel stronger.

That only really cuts out the book of Whitney's I haven't finished yet - so where would that go? I didn't finish it in 2007 so it doesn't go towards that goal and I didn't start it in 2008, but I am/did read it so it should count somewhere.

It's your list so I imagine you can count it whenever you want. I would most likely count it in the year I finished reading it. Or, less likely, in the year I read the bulk of it.
