That is such an awesome poem...how do you do that so quickly? I would love for such beautiful words to come to my mind like that. Put together so perfectly!

Thank you kindly. I've being studying haiku for almost 6 years. I am very glad that you like it.

I was thinking about two versions of the color, bright-ginger and ginger-bright... and I decided on the one you read :) What would you say regarding these two possibilities?

I like the one you selected the best. I would love to articulate a reason for it, but I can't. It just reads better and is more lyrical. The other way around (with bright first) feels to me more ordinary..."bright" is just your standard adjective. The other way around sounds more like captured sunlight, more magical - almost as if the golden/ginger cat has captured the essence of summer in his little furry body. Hope that makes sense!
