I could friend you again...Or maybe not. Thanks. I wasn't sure the banner was going to turn out well because the picture I got was kind of low-quality, but the Add Noise filter covered that quite nicely.
Hey, Amanda! This is Sara Marquez. Not that I'll be terribly let down if you don't add me to your friends list (this, by the way, is a lie), but I would like to see you around more often since I see so little of you these days, and I thought it would be cool to at least read about you.
Incase you care, I just lost the lid to the salsa I am currently eating... looks like I have to eat it all now.
I would love to add you as a friend. In fact, I just did. It's too bad we don't get a chance to see each other much any more, (no more crazy calculus class) but I have found that I've become a lot closer to people I don't see very much through livejournal. So...cool. I will most definitely see you around!
A superficial consideration would surely dictate that I would/should have no compelling interest in being on your friends list. But let us not be superficial...if one is/was an English major, that changes everything. These are words, of which we speak.
Very strange and intriguing things, words are. I suppose that it's all up to you...as a matter of simple fact.
I am intrigued. Though 'leave a note' was intended as a superficial reference to a television show, your comment has left me pondering a deeper meaning I had not intended. (Well, no, not really, but it sounded good.) I must disclose that I am not an English major yet, and may never be. However, I do adore words, if that counts for anything. One thing I'd love to know, though, is how you stumbled across my humble LJ. Was it through this path, perhaps? left_fielder -> antmusique -> dreamingenigma -> stupidondisplay -> shoroko -> hurkon
left_fielder -> antmusique -> dreamingenigma -> stupidondisplay -> shoroko -> hurkon....no, that's not how I got to your corner of this particular cyberplace. I think that I was looking around in dorthyparker, saw an interesting comment, and followed "friend of" linkages...until I got to your username...which struck some vein of whimsy within me...which led me to comment, for no good reason. Words are strange. "Leave a note" is a somewhat ambiguous collection of words, in and of itself--not the way you meant it, necessarily. I don't know...
None of this is all that important, in any startlingly evident sort of way. But then, there's nothing that says it has to be, really. "Importance", that's really subjective.
i've just been snooping around facebook and lj. i thought i'd drop a word. vassar '08 reporting, questions, concerns, you can always seek me out. we're so excited to have you guys coming!
