Oh wow, this is really fascinating and unique! I think you've really nailed the essence of their con-artist lifestyle here -- how it's sometimes funny, and sometimes very dark and dangerous -- and it's so fascinating to watch their friendship and the level of trust between them evolve over time. Lovely!

This is lovely. You showed the friendship developing, unfolding and I loved that the "con" was finding Mozzie's mom. I'm a sucker for well done PG stories.

thank you! mozzie's mom: it's always niggled in the back of my mind how mozzie constantly helps neal and plays the fool but neal doesn't appear to help him much in canon. so i just had to fix that.

Aww.. Mozzie is great! I love how he starts off by seeing Neal as a trainee prospect and quickly realizes he hit the jackpot. And I love Mozzie's little side thoughts here. Hiding in plain sight :-) This is so Mozzie!
