Law is... fun.

I never thought it could be happen, but I think my torts tutor is even cooler than my Intro to Law lecturer from last year. Let us compare:

Today's torts tute:
"Now, go and pounce on that legislation like black leopards on toast!"

Hyallo new friend! I'm starting my first year of a law/media course (gasp! at the coincidence) and I WANT YOUR LECTURERS!

Except maybe I'll keep my torts one. "Sometimes, the High Court make strange decisions. This might be because some of them are gibbering senile old men. But I would certainly not suggest that."

I will! I will suggest that! Me! They're all old and grumpy (though less so now that Kirby's retired), and they hate puppies and children. :p

I did contracts last year, so second year = torts. It's alright, I suppose. We're just getting into trespass to goods (oh, the hilarious fun).

Yes, it is gleeful isn't it. (I wish I could communicate a sarcastic eyebrow raise over lj.) I liked Kirby though, just because he was gay and kinda liberal and more than kinda a bit mental.

Everyone hates children, don't they? *runs off to burn a church full of kittens.*

And by liberal I mean 'left-wing' not 'the Liberal party', which, you know, isn't. Because in politics in this country we appreciate irony.

Christ, I sound like a real activist. I'm not actually terribly political. Too lazy.

I find that law is either hopelessly dry and boring *or* rather eccentric and wonderful. :) Great human interest stories pop out of the cases.
