What are "Jedward" and how worried should I be that they and what sounds like lots of screaming fans are camped just on the corner of our offie block where we're currently conducting a Disaster Recovery excerise?

I'm anticipating leaving at one am ish, should I take the long route to avoid the mob or is it safe to wade through?

wtf, life, work

Your lack of familiarity with pop culture is in this case a great blessing. I believe Jedward won the X Factor a year or two back. And I think they were the Irish entry in Eurovision last week. Look them up on Wiki, that's probably the safest way of learning about them. Suffice it to say, there are some - who, unlike me, have heard their music - who would say that the juxtaposition of "Jedward" and "Disaster" in the same sentence is entirely appropriate...

You don't even need to have heard their music to form that opinon: looking at their hairstyles or stage outfits is probably enough...

oh dear, they're very, um, earnest aren't they? uh... *goes back to mainlining Adele again*

I wish you a safe and incognito return trip through the throngs of J'Fans, there, my dear.

Ernest is one word for them... escape successfully managed but more by skill of the taxi drive than anything else.

OTH the cloths and the hair to serve as good target identification marks for roof top snipers and I still say we should have been allowed to try hitting them with the left over breakfast sandwiches/ketchup/brown sauce. Our DR manager is no fun sometimes.
