Overly loud personal conversation on the train, the whole fragging car doesn't need to know what x's sister-in-laws lover has or hasn't done. I really don't need to know the intimate details of other peoples privet lives, especially when I'm running low on sleep and have had a crappy day at work. Can people please save those sorts of conversations

Or indeed discussing their work. Either are pretty annoying.

Although the really annoying thing is we're too damn British polite to ask them to shout more quietly...

Oh, my sympathies. I really hate it when someone just starts talking and you think they're talking to you and they have ear receivers. Do they realize how awkward that is?

What about drunk people? Drunk people who leer at you and nearly fall on to you when the tube stops? And then who proceed to stand in front of the yellow line so the tube can't leave and they have to get the station master down?

Yeah, had that today....

But I hear you on the personal problems issue... of course, working in retail, I've gotten to hear many interesting stories because apparently the people behind the till serving you aren't real people and you don't need to stop talking and you can carry on because they don't care.
