Backwards down the hill? That's my recurring nightmare (one of)
And sucks that you're having to attempt moving in this weather... it's supposed to get better over the weekend in time for more snow on Monday... yay /sarcasm
And if you build a snowman, you have to build a TF one and take a photo! *grins*
I've built one snowman, the first year we moved here. The snow here is the suckiest snowman and snowball building stuff ever. Soft, light and fluffy. Not enough moisture to cling together.
And sliding down the hill backward? Ugh. Glad nothing bad happened. Good luck on the weekend.
This stuff compacts down nicely to form snowballs/men it goes really slushy on roads and pavements when it's been trampled though which makes walking in it a bit dicey.
Here's hoping the weekend is a bit better weather wise.
Though right now there are a number of snowmen in yards around here so maybe now would be a good time to build one...before it rains this weekend. There is about 3 feet of the stuff piled on the ground so it's not like there's not enough material to work with.
Trampled snow is very slippery. Just hope it doesn't hard freeze and form an ice skating rink.
That sounds terribly scary and incredibly inconvenient. I hope the weather cooperates with your move during the weekend, and if the snowmech does happen, pictures would be most awesome. *hugs* stay safe. @_@
