That's cruel to separate those bond-mates.
That leaves a dark hole in their heart and soul.
The drawback would be hard and strong, it seems.

I am a firm believer that John and Mary love their kids. They just aren't the best parents :P We'll have to see what comes next for them!

Just a FYI I really HATE John & Mary in this fic. Mary comes from a long line of hunters - she knows that demons will find the boys & she should have listed to Missouri.

I totally agree! I find it interesting that Mary is always idolized as the perfect mother, and yet she ignored what was out there because she wanted to be done with the family business. Considering she knew a demon would be back in ten years... I decided to go with that and see where it took the family :P

I feel very priveleged to have been a part of these two updates! Thanks so much for asking. This story is coming along very well and now that we are getting into the real plot, I can't wait for more!

Wow -winces- Kinda makes me wanna slap Mary upside the head. For coming from a Hunting family, the woman's narrow-minded about love. I can't believe she's being so blind to the effect all this is having on Sam, and poor John, I can't imagine him knowing what to do with a despondent 12 year old.

I think John is doing his best here and trying to do the right thing... but I have some doubts about Mary's mindset these days :P
