You could easily be describing our Nicholas. My daughter, by default, has two younger children, but Nicholas has always been surrounded by love and has come a long way these past years.

I am so proud of her and her little family. I know they still have mountains to climb, but reading about your family brings a smile to my face and hope to my heart. Thank you for sharing.

I'm not a parent, but I am a teacher. This past fall, I bonded with a young lady who was diagnosed with autism at a young age. She spent years at a specialty boarding school and in self-contained programs that where she felt like she wasn't treated as a human ( ... )

You are such a wonderful person for taking that on so completely! I'm contemplating full inclusion for my son for next year and I can only hope that he'd get a teacher half as dedicated as you!
