He'd talked to Sam just the other day. Talked to his baby brother about something that he had been told. Somehow he wished he could take back telling him. All it did was drag the younger Winchester into his mess. We're always making a mess for each other though.. Now Sam wanted to go with him to this person all because of something he'd been told. Ashley had been in Arizona for a while, sent by her recent employer to collect American Indian artifacts of value for his own private collection. However, being her father's daughter, Ashley always found more. It was more for her own personal use. She found tablets and took pictures of carvings in caves, some not seen in public. With her ability to speak many languages and able to translate text, she talked to some of the tribe leaders and got their oral history ( ... )

And his attention had been on the building before hand. The damn thing held quite a few historical figures and such within that could be used for different things. Then he noted the woman. Whoever she was. Man... if she didn't watch it she was going to either fall, lose balance or drop things and he just couldn't have that.

"You might want to watch where you're going. You don't want to fall and lose everything." Not that he wouldn't help her if she did, her being hot and all. But still... one never wanted a woman to fall.

Ashley hadn't noticed Dean so when he spoke, she couldn't help but jump, physically back and when she did, books went falling, a tablet as well. Her heart was beating fast as she looked at him and her lips were wet by her tongue.

A blush warmed her cheeks and she crouched down, "I'm sorry, I didn't see you there." She reached up taking her hat off, setting it aside as she reached for fallen books and paper. "I was just... I'm a sucker for classic cars."

And she'd dropped her things anyways. That wasn't what he'd intended to happen. He walks over and kneels down helping her pick up the books, papers and the tablet that had fallen as well. He noted the names of some of the books and was totally lost.

"Sucker for classic cars huh? First time I've heard of a girl getting that interested into classic cars."

Ashley turned back to Dean. "Don't let it fuel you, Dean." She moved back to him. "If vengeance is their fuel, you have to be the one to dampen it. To ground them." She sat back down, pushing her blonde hair back over her shoulder.

"You know, I... um... I could give you the information I have and you can give it to your father?"

He rose a slight brow at that. He's not used to some girl telling him stuff like that but he merely gives a nod. Don't let it fuel him. Vengence hasn't fueled him yet. And he truly had no reason to allow it to do that.

"That'd be nice, Ashley." Not that he thought he'd see his dad any time soon. But either way it'd be nice to have. "You know what why don't we just copy it and we'll go from there. That way you still have it as well."

Ashley could see clearly Dean's reactions to her words. Perhaps he didn't need to hear them but it was what kept her father grounded. She kept him grounded until his death. But that was another story.

She nodded to him, "I'll make some notes to the side of some of them. A few are of very old text and... well, my father and I were the only ones who could read it." She got up and looked about the room then moved around the bed behind Dean. She crouched down, finding another bag and started rummaging inside. She pulled out a very old and large leather bound book. She sat it upon the bed. "You might also need this. These are some very old Sumerian and Egyptian spells, some from the Book of the Dead. That can send a spirit back."

"There are also some very old Judaism spells, words that are stronger than Christian." She looked over the bed at him.

"You're just all kinds of prepared aren't you?" He suddenly frowns though. "I couldn't take that from you though, Ashley. There's no telling when you'd need it if ever." Yeah, he knew she was trying to help but he couldn't do that to her. She needed her own protection against demons and the like.
