One of my favorite TV shows from the 60s was "Then came Bronson" about a guy, (Micheal Parks) who drove around the country on a Harley Sportster, working odd jobs, meeting different people and helping them cope with their problems

I was just a kid in the 60s, but remember a lot of what was going on, the 70s was better, I had more of an adult view of the era.

I actually did have a Sportster in 1970, after high school and just before I went in the AF. I had a hard decision to make, go west on the bike, or go in the military, in the end I was happy I joined, I met a lot of good people and learned at lot of neat stuff.
