Looks like I was right. The kid and Victor have got more in common then Stryker wants us to acknowledge. Victor weren't pleased at first that I had already started to work things out but he's got nothing to worry about. It's not him I plan on falling out with.
I should be more concerned but truth be told I reckon that kid is gonna get by just fine.

I get sent on a scouting mission by Stryker, come back to hear a certain someone got his ass royally handed to him by Laura. Seems I miss out on all the fun! Can't say I didn't try an' warn him 'bout watchin' his attitude round her but no doubt he got what he deserved.
Reckon I'm gonna have to get the finer details off her in the morning. -

Another new face on the Team an' I reckon she's gonna fit in just fine.
Already certain members of the team has shown interest. Not to mention Dukes who now won't stop going on about his girl back home. Hate to rain on your parade Dukes but I don' think she's gonna write. -

Ok so according to Stryker I've gotta keep an eye on the new kid. Last time I checked my job description it only mentioned Mercenary and not babysitter too. I'll be honest and say that the two don't exactly mix.
Not that the kid is a problem. He don't seem half bad considering.

Another day of walking, not that I mind much. It's good to be in a place where you can escape the rest of the world.
Yeah I know that sounds strange for a guy like me doing the job I'm doing to say but at least out here we're one step closer to nature and freedom of some kind. An it's given me time to think about who I am... that's when my thoughts ( Read more... )
