This. This - I'm speechless, really. And happy. Very happy. It's been a long time since I've read Hyuuga fics, you know? I loved your theories on clan marriages and the seal! (It's a pity, but I don't think Kishimoto will ever look back on the Hyuuga again, unless it's for a unlikely plot twist *sigh*) And the interaction between Hinata and Neji and surprisingly, Team 8 is just so... idk, I just know that I really do adore your works. They're so simple, yet the mood you set for them just reels me in every time I read them!

Of course, that's nothing you don't know already but it never hurts to remind you! XD

Thank you! It is always good to know that people think I'm hitting upon the right tone for the Hyuuga Clan!

The conversation with Team Eight are from edenfalling's wonderful fanfic (albeit her story is from Shino's POV). I hope you check it out; her stories are fantastic.

Thank you for this beautiful comment! It made my day like you wouldn't believe! Especially the specific comments because I love applying what I learn to future writing too!

The careful way that clan traditions are treated without being trivialized, blown out of proportion, or...I hesitate to say this, but "Westernized."

Wow! Really? That is so cool, especially as Asian culture is not my native culture or even one I've been able to be familiar with outside of research or media so that is good to hear!

I'm glad to the dialogue worked so well. The original fic, Compatiblity, has very good dialogue, which helped so much! If you haven't read it already, you might really enjoy edenfalling's story. She's great ( ... )
