Immediate reaction to the chapter: HELL FUCK YEAH!! CALLED IT! MADARA IS THE TRUE MASTERMIND, AND HE HAS INFLUENCED OBITO!!
1) Haku and Zabuza were resurrected as zombies. (Which was a terrible, terrible idea, because their arc was the most powerful of the entire series, and it was powerful BECAUSE of their death, which gave it some final closure, and randomly bringing them back years later butchers that. Moving on.)
2) This theory is very plausible, because it would make room for Naruto as the next Hokage at the end of the story. (And also give him one more reason to be rightfully angry, blah blah fucking blah, shut up Jesus-wannabe, you're boring as fuck.)
3) I'm super excited about Madara's role as well, though maybe not for the same reasons. Mostly it's because I love Madara as a villain - his motivations make sense, and he embodies a past that modern-day Konoha and Naruto and the author are all very keen on burying forever
( ... )
1) Oh! You're right. So even more pople who can't stay dead. Oh! Apperently, Rin's dead though, and we haven't seen her come back to life. Too bad. According to Obito that would solve everything.
3) No, I agree that Madara is a very interesting character, and I like the parallels you're drawing about the way Ninjas were structures before the villages (though I'm not sure that parallel is intensional because I don't know what value Madara would get then from the Moon-Eye Plan. World Peace (even such a fake/superficial peace) would not seem to support the world as before the villages either....)
And, yeah, the time travel is very cracky, for a theory. Probably won't be true, though admittedly, this Madara looks as though he died young. Maybe you come back in your prime as a zombie? Everyone else did too, but almost no one dies of old age, so its hard to tell....
