... I just accidentally switched into an episode of Supernatural (one where the guys check into a psychiatric clinic to find a ghost that sucks out brain juice), and... brrr! These monster faces are too scary for me!! Especially when home alone in a large, dark flat. I used to love the x-files, so I don't know... maybe it's the occult satanism

The only two things that have ever freaked me were the flukeman and the gargoyle episode where the guy was like, using disfigured heads for his gargoyles.

The mothmen kinna weirded me out but I was not afraid!

SPN is not scary, as pretty much all their monsters are reaaallly bad makeup and/or cheap CGI. Or perhaps I am not too invested in it when all I think of is "Angst! Melodrama! Angst!"
