The icon thing happened to me once but I deleted it so I don't know if it would have come back to normal or not. It's weird.

I think I remember reading on LJ's support community (and in the journal that covered the bots hing more extensively), that the bots and the problems with userpics are completely unrelated; the userpics get switched/replaced randomly because of a problem serverside at LJ, or at their image hosting provider.

By the way, some time ago I got a confirmation from Creation Entertainment that they've shipped my SG-1 calendar to you, so be on the lookout for it?:)

I wasn't at home for the weekend, so I didn't notice until I asked today, but will be home again tomorrow, so just mail me your current address (naughtytelepath//AT//gmail.com) and I'll have it shipped to you as soon as possible. :) Do you want special shipping conditions, like insurance/tracking number, express service etc? I usually send everything by standard airmail, because it's a bit more expensive than sea mail but faster (and rarely anything gets lost, at least I never had that problem); in the end it depends on how you want it, so pick your favorite way. ;)
