I'm reminded of "Lathe of Heaven," when the character tries to remake the world so that there isn't any racism, and ends up making every single person a dull gray color.
Incidentally, Amy is the favored name of my demon prince of sloth and the flesh. Who enjoys taking the form of an innocent eight-year old girl.
So why did you end up choosing that particular name?
Well, fair enough. The entire third part of "Spiritus Mundi" is probably a "rip-off cocktail" of "Promethea" and various stuff that C. S. Lewis has written ("Great Divorce" and "Perelandra" mainly).
Sure, whatever name you feel suits your femininity the most.

An old baby name book bears a handwritten notes that says "Amy," among other titles under "girl." Under "boy" it says "Graham." It seems to suit.

Amy Fox, I like it: three letters in each name, looks nice. Reminds me of my ax.
