Until recently I never really considered grad school very seriously. But I have been thinking that I would like to attend North Western (yeah, big fucking change of pace, huh?). I mean, basically my academics are there... I mean, my GPA isn't what I would like (3.44 right now), but I have two semesters left of pretty much sure-thing A's so, that ( Read more... )

also, the GRE's are not really hard (SAT 2.0), and i was at the WS foundation today and they gave me a list of schools and scholarships for fine arts grad. programs...and at least 6 of them are solely for film.

and if you went to grad school, you could always fall back on a career as a college professor, and make films as a hobby.

that's sort of the plan, i think i could easily come back and teach her at UNCG, which wouldn't be the best job in the world, but would afford me the opportunity to earn grants so that i could take time off and make films... i've watched a few of my younger professors do that time and again and end up teaching at much better schools...
