On Sunday afternoon, I added a new interest to my list on LJ: "listening to shadows." The shadows have been telling me things I never expected from them, but I suppose that's the way shadows usually are. Last night's shadows were particularly noisy. I think they belonged to a raccoon. Too bad the fifth season of that show was never on broadcast TV where I could see it. They show Seinfeld fifty-three times each day, but no B5. Where is the justice, I ask you?

Interesting. What in the world has you thinking about this? It can't just be the raccoon ;)

I surely do miss having the energy and peace of mind to be contemplative like this. Big thought make my little brain hurt too much too often, lately.

Consider yourself blessed. It isn't everyday that a raccoon moons you. I'd think of it as good karma :P

Well, the raccoon started the thought process, then the Tears for Fears song came into mind somehow, and my train of thought found other tracks after that. My brain does strange things sometimes.

Hah! While I did have a reasonable amount of energy (for me) yesterday, am not sure how much peace of mind came into the equation.

No, it's not every day that a raccoon moons me. I haven't even seen any raccoons at all today, though a butterfly just flew by my window. Pretty!
