Went to the beach yesterday. It was overcrowded and the pool closed when we got there for unknown reasons. So, we hit the real beach and waded through seaweed and various other muck near the shore. The fourth was pretty much rained out. We waited all day for nightfall, which it finally did, along with the rain. and it rained. and rained. I am relaxed. It's so quite and peaceful I'm getting a twinge of anxiety that something must be around the bend. Then again, maybe not. Maybe I'm in for a peaceful, sweaty summer and that'll be that. Things are rolling along here. I'm just about done with my summer school class research paper on the rights of smokers and nonsmokers. I'm trying to brainwash myself with all of the info I'm getting on the nonsmokers perspective. I've been lost in my books, trying to absorb the information I lost in manic March.My instructors were understanding of my absences and I think I'll squeak by the three classes I managed to hang onto.
