Dumb Questions

Pureblood or pureblood?

Or other... if there is another.

Don't laugh. It's a mental block or something.

And to make matters worse I just nearly wrote mental bloke. I actually wrote 'bloke' instead of 'block' in one of my mock GCSE science exams.

Umm... I always do 'pureblood'. Jess says that in the UK editions of the books it is pure-blood according to potterwords. (Two opinions for the price of one.)

Thank you - 'pureblood' it is. You know when you have one of those moments when it just doesn't make sense whichever way you write it? Yeah, it was one of those.

You watch, my beta (when I get one) will pull me up on it, lol.

You're welcome!

Oh I definitely have those moments. :D He he, most of my fics get looked over while they are being written so all my mistakes get caught then. Yay for friends more grammatically inclined than I am.

HAH!

My mum once wrote 'pubic' instead of 'public' on her French exam. And then, because she had finished early, she doodled and wrote on the back of her paper 'gee, I sure hope I didn't write pubic by accident...'

And then when she got it back the teacher wrote a reply...hahaha...

I'm convinced that one day when I intend to swear "Merlin" will come out of my mouth!

I looked it up in the Chamber of Secrets (American Version) and it says "pure-blood"

Lol! It's like when I used to watch Firefly - I found myself going 'shiny' all the time.
