Dear Author,

I am truly enjoying your work and I like the emotional angle that you're exploring. I far prefer Mr. Gold with Emma than with Belle. I don't think Emma expects people to be other than what they are whilst Belle wants the man behind the imp. I don't believe that true love requires the other person to change in order to work. True love may inspire nobler actions from the beloved, as in Gold's reaction to Emma's distress, but Emma isn't pushing for him to be other than he is. That being said, I like where you are going and I am very glad that you are continuing this. Please continue. Please. Thank you so much in advance. ;)

And I totally agree with you about Belle's perspective of Gold versus Emma's. I love writing Emma for the very same reason, it allows me to write straight conversations and simple moments rather than the romantically grand gestures that are so often expected in Romance fics nowadays.
And I shall continue it, because there's a really excellent plot development coming up soon and I can't wait to write it in!

And, awww! Emma calling Gold for support. Like, of all the people she’d go to... Mr. Manipulative and not August? Bwah! But I like the feeling that she can and that she senses she can. That he’s not going to use her for some lulzy scheme of his that will end badly due to his plotting. It’s just... IDK. I just love it.
