Stuff and such

I've already linked this around other places, but I shall do it here too: My friends and I are running an ask blog with the G1 seekers, called askaseeker. I'm quite proud of what my friends have cooked up so far.

University starts again in a week. I'm kind of nervous--not because of classes, but because of the building pressure of applications for ( Read more... )

re: OP
I'm guessing senator Whiteguy stole him from the death row or something. Sentinel seemed pretty certain that he would never be seen again...
I just wonder how he could go back to being a regular cop without someone recognizing him and sending another squadron to off him, but perhaps they think he's not remarkable enough? (Though he did defeat a bunch of senate guards, so I'm not sure HOW they view him by then.)

That's what I meant by "slap on the wrist." I'm sure you know better than I, but cops can have their careers ruined pretty easily by having poor conduct on their record. I'm having trouble suspending belief that he pulled that stunt, then the interests of one senator was enough to make everyone fine and dandy with him.

....Plus I can't help but notice that his entire spiel was about senators being corrupted and favoring people, but then he went ahead and let a senator get him out of deep shit because that senator favored him. Whaaaaaaaaat? Message lost me a bit there.

Definitely, I was hoping for more clarification on the conclusion but I dunno if we'll be shown what happens. I am tentatively guessing that with different 'factions' apparently appearing within the Senate itself, there would be enough of a power balance/tension to give that one senator leverage if he's backed up by a faction of his own.

I guess at that point Orion had said his piece and being alive was just a lucky bonus? We are led to consider that one senator as one of the 'good' ones in a circle of corrupted politicians, though I wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be simply using Orion for his own ends (like the Matrix-case installation might suggest).

that askaseeker blog is pretty friggen hilarious. i enjoy every post you guys draw, and i'm happy to say that they're creative in their responses. :D

it always sucks when you have to go back to university. it's just a reminder of how many bills you have to pay for tuition and books and other supplies.
good luck on your interview! be sure to give them a good handshake when you meet them in person!

because all people in interviews like good handshakes. it's like a right of passage or something. *shrug*
