Good luck finding any good music on the radio! The only thing I can suggest is 101.7 WSFM. Generally it's got good shit, but the odd ABBA song comes on once in awhile.
The radio is only the surface of what artists and bands can do. Although I don't like any of the artists you have spoken of in this post (excluding Mozart), I'm sure they have better shit to offer. Look deeper in your scene. I know Metal radio shows are all shit as fuck because all they play is what they think is popular, but there is a whole new world when you look deeper.
