This is beautiful! And so sad, but still hopeful. Poor Remus, finally taking a chance at going after what he wants, only to find that he still can't have it (or so it seems). And poor Sirius, a stranger in his own life. I'm so glad Sirius decided to try -- and it looks like these two will still be able to build something together.

ETA: I also meant to say, as someone who absolutely hates trying to think of titles, that your title is very nice!
