This was just as beautiful now as the first time I read it. I can't even explain why i love this so much, it's just so quiet and yet so much is happening, and it gives me all sorts of feels. Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. This is a story i'll return to again and again.

I had some vague ideas to make a playlist of the songs, but your comment earlier pushed me to do it :)

Glad you enjoyed it!

I've been looking forward so much to reading this (wanting to do it when I had a chance to sit down and properly pay attention). Congratulations on such a wonderful story! I love the way it's drenched in the music of the day, and I love the descriptions of the weather and the seasons (they're all in there, and I love Remus's words about them being friends who clean up after each other). Remus is most interesting here for the way he grows and changes, from a shy boy who doesn't know how to do friends, to a man who is confident enough to flirt but still holds himself back, to the one who admits he's fallen in love -- until the betrayal. Sirius is very much himself in this world as well, handsome and confident and with that dangerous temper, but so, so loyal to the people he loves ( ... )

I do find writing Remus easier than writing Sirius. I've become very fond of Sirius as well, and R/S fandom has certainly made me appreciate him more than I used to. But for me it comes more naturally to use Remus' pov, though it's very much fun to try others as well.

secretly I can't help being glad that no one actually died, not even Peter. I like the way Snape helped straighten things out, and even Malfoy wasn't really in too deep, heh.AU is such a wonderful opportunity to have a happy, or at least hopeful, ending :D And I wanted this story to be mostly light, despite the angsty parts ( ... )
