You need to make a whole batch of icons with quotes from that video. "I'll fucking set yer beard on fire!"

The whole job situation is really lame. You should apply absolutely everywhere and take the first job that you can find. It can't be worse, because you'd at least be making minimum wage or more.

I'll pump ye silly!!

I have been applying for any jobs I can. I don't get a lot of chances, though. Looking for a job is almost a full time job!!

My brother Matt has an extensive collection of Starbucks mugs. I'm thinking of taking one to the cafe tomorrow. I'll just sip from it now and again. XD

Like I've said before - it's not that it's a hard job or anything, it's just absolutely miserable. I'm surrounded by people who despise me, forced to work for less than half minimum wage and expected to be happy about it. Not to mention the fact that the building is COLD and filthy and dull and god I hate it.

Wow. That's almost exactly how I feel, except for instead of a job, it's school. People are ridiculous. They are stupid. And they are mean. But there's not much we who frequent the internet can do about it. Dealing with other people's shit and problems can wear one down after a while. It's pretty terrible. But I do know that once you've got to a place that you are feeling terrible all the time friends all of a sudden become so much more important than they were in the first place. So there's always that. :)

But he also thinks that human relationships are unhealthy and that to reach enlightenment one must be separate from absolutely everything - which strikes me as silly, if not impossibleWell, at least when you're alone and ( ... )

Well, at least in school you're getting some sort of education. And there are lots of people, so you're more likely, statistically, to find someone friendly.
It's not that I have to deal with other people's shit. It's more that they seem to revel in insulting and degrading everything I do while praising and uplifting everything they do.

This is one of my major disagreements with Gotama the Buddha. If you can share your ideas and thoughts with other people, mistakes are more likely to be corrected than if you just sit on your own thinking and not consulting others.

Er, yes... Some sort of education. If you can put it that way. I've found two people who are friendly to me. One is a teacher and the other is a kid who is friendly to everyone it seems.
And the people you work with sound like my family. The point of it is to build yourself up while tearing someone else down. But it's worse, because you're all related to each other. I guess the difference though, is that the adults in the Hanson family are a bit educated. So at least it's interesting.

Yes, that is a very good point. Humans are, by nature, very social animals. We would go nowhere if we all became hermits. Also, if no-one ever had contact with anyone else we would all just die off. And not only because you need two to make a baby.
