I think I need a Nintendo avatar, but I can only seem to get 35. I don't know enough about LJ to get more. Oh well. A few posts back I mentioned how I like some video game music. Thanks to some kind yet probably illegal work from nice folks on YouTube, I've been giving some a listen from time to time. I'd like to share with you people who may, or ( Read more... )

That one from Donkey Kong Country brings back memories. :) I kind of wish I could get a CD of this stuff...

I think there are CDs of some game music. I couldn't tell you which ones though. But the isolated music from DKC is clearly available... I think my elder brother has it on his computer...

Video game music is EVIL. I remember when I played Pokemon to distraction... I started to hear the music even when I wasn't playing it. D:

I've never plaid Golden Sun so I can't comment. One of my brothers has both of them and said the music is okay.

Donkey Kong music. You wouldn't think it was so amazing if you had to listen to it for about three hours everyday for five months. Brings back TERRIBLE memories... -_- But besides Donkey Kong, I suppose I would have to agree that game music is cool, even if the game isn't.

HOW DARE YOU!
Donkey Kong Country 2 is one of the best video games ever! It has Pirate Kremlings, what more could you want?

Now I miss playing on the old 64 with my friends...

Some video game music is amazing, one of the only reasons why I keep going back and playing Fable and Fable II is for the music. Russel Shaw is brilliant, plus Danny Elfman was in on a few, but still lovely stuff.

Well, I'm not an expert on the matter but I believe Donkey Kong needs more kangaroo rats in it. They are sadly lacking in many video games. ;)
