So ocassionally I'll notice a woman (in real life or an actress on a show) who pulls this facial expression when her eyebrows sorta lower, except where they instead raise up near the bridge of her nose, usually to convey something unpleasant or baffling

whose mother always swore that my face would freeze in some of my more bizarre facial reactions, and who has always been fascinated by mirrors reflected in other mirrors and those infinite doorways...

It didn't work, but then, neither did her teaching me to control the muscles apparently attached to your ears (I still feel like I might not even have those muscles). She could actually move them separately. I tried, but maaaan. It seems like which facial muscles you're good at controlling simply differs and is apparently hard to learn. Meh.

My rationale with the eyebrow pencil hypothesis was that maybe there's eyebrow penciled where there usually is none, but that might just be me trying to justify to myself my not being able to do the expression. =P
