Library fee. D*=

- I have $2.00 in library fees.  D=  I've never had a library fee before.  I reserved some items, evidently failed to pick them up within the allotted ten days, and each accrued a 1.00 reshelving charge.  Time flies, I thought I still had a couple days left to retrieve them

Haha, now I feel bad about my ridiculous library fees. I think the winner so far was € 40.00

More like my love for not paying attention to library fees, and that really bad habit of getting at least 15 books at once. xD

Also the suave move of choosing a library in another city because it has more books to choose from. Which of course means actually bringing them back only when I also have another reason to pay for the buss ride. :P

Wow, a $1 reshelving charge? That sounds like bs. We never charge people for not picking up items, you didn't even see or read them!

Well, it was ordered from another branch in the system, so it's more like a "trucking it back to the branch it came from and reshelving it" charge.

Which I think is fair enough. The library does a lot for citizens, and some clowns around here like to repay it by putting burning items in the book return slot.
