IPhone Impressions?

Jul 06, 2007 16:54

Good afternoon one and all.  So, I was wondering if people out there could give me their impressions with their iphones..not just of the phone, but with the network itself.  I had Cingular way back when and hated it with a passion...too many dead spots and I couldn't use the phone inside the place I worked.  When I switched to Verizon it covered me ( Read more... )

The big question "how does the phone sound" isn't really a good question. True, if the speaker is awful, you won't hear well, but most of the 'awful' sound of cell phones is due to an overloaded cell. They actually have a method to lower the bit rate of the audio for all phones in a small area, compressing it sverly so yu ct undstnd t wds

That happens due to the cell and how many cell phones are active at the moment. So that's an AT&T thing, not an iPhone thing.

So judge the phone at 3AM talking with someone with a good land-line phone... judge the service at 5:30 PM on weekdays.

I wonder how long the 'exclusive' with AT&T is.

That's interesting... I bet there is an 'out'... not spoken about, but there.

Or, AT&T is working to tailor their entire network to carry much more data.

Very interesting... how this is being marketted!

So, would an iPhone be a toy or a tool, and how else could you do the tool part?

Tough questions here..toy or tool. Well, both actually. Would be nice to have something to keep my appointments and contacts together..plus would be nice to keep me occupied while waiting at PT or doctor's offices. See next post..hopefully there will be a next post with my opinions on it.
