This weekend, the suffering got to be too much so I cut off the dead hair ends. Cost $3, took 2 minutes, still better than Great Clips.

i am tempted to do that myself. according to that longhair comm, when you just cut off the splits using nail scissors or smthg without getting an actual haircut haircut, it's called "dusting." lolwut it sounds like something to do with killing vampires.

I'm getting mine cut today. It looks like I have a mushroom on to of my head. Damn humidity.

i've been threatening to do cut it but if your hair is an asshole like mine is, that just makes it decide to behave and look acceptable in order to make you doubt yourself and end up not cutting it when the opportunity arises. as soon as you decide against cutting, all the split ends exhale and pop back out to their frizziest level yet.
