The news of my sisters car crash, certainly hasn't helped make this week any easier. I was going to try and relax myself and tell myself that it would only be a couple of more days, then we'd be getting ready to go. But with this

She was a bit worse this morning, according to my Mum. But she was taken to theater this morning to have the operation on her hand, since it's the right hand that she broke and they wanted to get it setting properly before it started to heal wrong. They gave her an epidural then for the pain that she was in and she was much better after that since it made the pain more bearable for her. She's going to be in quite a lot of pain for some time though. But I think we're all just glad she's alive at this point.

Speaking from experience, epidurals are the best! Wheee!!! LOL

I remember Craig and me chatting with your sister at your wedding and thinking what a cute, charming person she is. I do hope for the best for her. I know it's not the same thing, but when I gave birth everyone told me I would be in so much pain afterward. Well, most of the time I was just so happy about G and I didn't even feel the pain. When you get to England, I'm sure the happiness of seeing you again after such a long absence will lessen the pain some for your sister.

I hope so. I'm pretty sure they're going to let her out of the hospital before Christmas, since they gave her an appointment to get the stitches taken out by a nurse on Christmas Eve and they've told her she can't wash her hair before then.

I'm sure simply being at home will help her feel better.
