I created a twitter. However, I have absolutely no idea what to do with it. I'm flailing about wildly and hoping to hit on the secret of twitter. (Not working so far.)

It's basically like making Facebook status updates. :O The whole "art" is about telling people what you're doing in an interesting way and keeping the word count under 140.

Now if you're my roommate, you update it in barrages of pointless commentary on what you're doing, without a care of what your followers think.

Kay - I'm following you. Maybe. Twitter can't make up it's mind. I click follow, I get updates in my feed, but then my count never updates and the people disappear. :( It's highly disappointing.
