I don't remember if I said it before, but I love Bruce slapping Clint's hand away from the splint. LOL

At the core of the fic is the relationship between Steve and Clint. Clint's insecurities about his place in the team, and Steve's frustration with Clint's behavior. I think your story does a nice job of letting Steve assert his authority while also proving to Clint that he most certainly does belong on the team. :)

You know, I'm not sure that Clint's bought into it all completely yet, but I think he's too worried about Natasha to care too much about what it all means, lol? But you are SO incredibly nice to me; thanks for that! I'm glad I could at least give *you* something to read for a change. :)

Well I suppose we wouldn't want Clint to get the message too quickly. Because that means we can have a whole NEW story with Clint pulling dangerous stunts and Steve showing him the error of his ways. Right? Yes, I'm sure that's what you meant. :)

I have to admit, it sounds better than doing laundry, but then almost anything does. ;)

Hugs Clint. Poor things, tons of issues and then Loki. Not good, but he gets the Avengers, so I suppose it all evens out.

Yeah, when you look at it that way, it's not really a bad trade, is it? :) Hey, are you Cat from Jet's list? :)

Possibly, but as I don't know who/where Jet's list is, probably not. sorry.
And no, not a bad trade

No sorry necessary; I love new people. :) It's just that some folks have several screen names (one for every site), and I can't keep up anymore! And not recognizing people you should know can be embarrassing. Thanks for reading! :)

lovely story :D

Thor frowns. “How does Steve Rogers possess this flavor?”

oh, Thor!

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! :) And understood it, considering I just noticed LJ removed some of my formatting/spacing. *rolls eyes* And yeah, can't you just imagine the conversation that's going to transpire between Bruce and Thor on that topic, lol? :)

I sort of love you a little for writing this. Your dialogue is perfect, everyone was so in character.

I sort of love you a lot for reading it, lol. I'm so happy it worked for you; it's a new fandom for me and I'm still kind of figuring the characters out. :) Thanks for the note! :)

Aw, that was so sad and sweet at the same time. I loved, "Is this a joke?" Poor Clint, thinking that Steve wants to hurt him. He can take torture, but he can't take the kind words. D:

I love it!

Thanks, you're so sweet - I'm glad you enjoyed it. The Avengers are totally my new favorite thing! :) I've been wondering where you are now; I kind of think of you as our Carmen Santiago. ;)

Um, I meant that as "in the same state" not "peering though your window." It came out stalkier than I intended, oops.
