New babies and nipples.

I babysat for two new boys last night-- Aiden (3) and Dylan (5). I brought Spiderman and X-Man stickers and we had a good old time making sticker-stories with crayons and paper.  Aiden was coloring Wolverine with a purple crayon (which is the color of X-man blood, apparently) when he turned to me with a worried expression on his face.

Ahh, kids. They really do ask the darndest things. I remember the time I was at a fiddle convention playing frizbee with this little girl who asked me completely out of the blue if I believed in God. That was one interesting question (for me) to try and answer out of the blue!

My mother has a policy that I have also adopted that "if the kid is able to ask the question, (s)he is old enough to know the real answer".

Aren't kids fun?

Also as an aside: I have not seen you in a while. We should get together at some point.

I think the whole god thing is a trickier spot to be in! You can argue whether or not there is a god. You can't quite argue whether or not you have nipples. : ) Although maybe some can.

Yes, yes! We should get together! It has been far too long. This week is a bit crazy, but I will be in touch soon!
