A good question

I told fleur that I hate spring; it's too sloppy and wet. Thank goodness spring only lasts about two weeks in the Twin Cities before it hits 90 degrees.

Don't get me wrong - there's a lot to be said for spring, like trees starting to bud, grass starting to grow and too much frickin' rain and mud shorts season ( Read more... )

you then find out what season people have their birthday.

or at least why they love or hate a particular season.

you know, for science.

no worries. neither does mine. it's what happens when you try to do 5 things at once.

Fall is my favorite season because I love the cool, crisp, humidity-free air. I love sweatshirt weather. I love Halloween and fall colors and I love breaking out my fall home decorations. I hate winter because I hate driving in snow with a passion. Summer would have been my second "dislike" choice because I hate hot, humid temperatures. I would rather be cold than hot, but snow pushes winter over the top for me.

Summer was almost my number one hate - I'm a furnace and summer's heat can be overwhelming sometimes - but spring is just too sloppy.

I didn't always hate spring, just when I got a dog.

Fall is my favorite season because I love the cool, crisp, humidity-free air. I love sweatshirt weather. I love Halloween and fall colors and I love breaking out my fall home decorations.

Same here, but I'll add that I love the sound of leaves crunching under my feet as I walk on a remote gravel road or trail.

I guess I'm weird because so far I'm the only one who's chosen winter as their favorite.

I agree that Spring sucks. It can't decide when it's going to start - snow - sun - rain - sun - snow... all equals a sloppy wet mess... and of course it's the end of WINTER which ROCKS!

Winter is my second favorite season. It'd actually be number one if we'd actually get some snow; I love winter activities, but the winter activities I love require a good base of snow.

It's no fun to bust out the snow shoes on frozen grass or cross country skis on an exposed fields! NEED SNOW NEED SNOW!

yeah, I think I love winter because I remember winters as a kid with TONS OF SNOW! We'd build tunnels and forts and have snow fights and ski and go sledding and ice skating and everything else! I LOVE SNOW! I take pictures of snow. Oh, that reminds me i took a picture of a scary bug today with my phone.

What kind of bug? Except for man eating spiders, I like bugs.

I really hate mustard so I had to vote for it. but really? I'm so not a fan of winter OR spring. Winter I hate because I can never get warm. Spring I don't really like because it's just strange. One day it's warm, the next day it snows. Plus, my mom has really bad allergies in the spring. I know it doesn't make sense for me to hate spring on her behalf, but whatever. I do. so there.

Fall is perfect. I want Fall all year round.

Mustard is starting to grow on me. My big hate now is Miracle Whip. YUCK! I used to love it!!

Fall is perfect. I want Fall all year round.

I'd vote for seven months of fall and five months of winter.

I love the fancy mustards, like French's yellow or Plochman's yellow.

So many varieties!!

It was tough picking my least favorite, between winter and summer. I went with summer because that's what it is now. Ask me again in January, and my answer will probably change.

Ya know, I'll probably end up doing the same thing. By the middle of winter, I may change my answer.
