I gave it a shot, thinking it would probably be worthless, but in 10 days of TV watching and checking in, I've earned (and used, it's practically instantaneous) $10 in Starbucks gift cards.

I wish it was available on Android, but it is on iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad (I bought a microphone since it wasn't built in to my 2nd gen Touch.)

I have never heard of such a thing...what is it? Not that I watch that much TV at this time.

It's an app for Apple devices. You have it listen for a couple of minutes at the beginning of a show, and it gives you points for each show you check into. You get ~50-100 points per show, but many offer an extra 200-300 points additional. More if you share it on Twitter or Facebook. I've earned 1,930 pts just in the last 24 hours. And rewards start at 7,500 pts (like the $5 Starbucks cards).

It even counts things like the local news and recognizes my Hulu and On Demand watching, though I haven't tried anything older than a week yet.

I have it too and like it a lot. I thought it would be scam-ish but it's really not. I already got an Amazon gift card from it, which is really nice.

Do you use the share my check-in? I've been using one of my alternate Twitter accounts to avoid spamming, but I can't find anywhere how many points it adds. (it definitely seems to!)

I planned on downloading the app to my iPhone so do I just send you the e-mail that is on my Apple account?

No, you can use any email address for it, since it's a sign-in through the app. I use a different one!
