I swear, I did nothing all weekend except tagwrangle for yuletide (and lurk on the community_tv chat). So if you were wondering where I was...

But the character lists are up for one last double-check at yuletide_admin! Check your fandoms! I already commented on the Spider-Man mistakes on page 8 or so, but if you see something I didn't, please comment there. We can fix.

Wait, Spider-Man is in Yuletide? I thought it was disallowed last year.

It was! But they changed the rules - if a fandom is small at AO3, it is going to be allowed this year. So things like Doctor Who and Harry Potter won't make it in, but things like Spider-Man comics and TV did. Several of us nominated with fingers tightly-crossed. :)

I just took a glance and I am surprised Spider-Man is on it. It makes me EXTREMELY happy to see it there but still surprised. May check back later.

It fit the "small on AO3" standard, so it got in! I'm very happy, too. The only Spider-Man related fandom that isn't on the list is Spider-Man (movieverse). Even Superman Returns and the Reeveverse movies got in. ♥

I saw that SR and Reeveverse got in (and I was one of the ones that nommed them :p), so between those and the other fandoms I nommed getting in, I'm teetering toward actually getting my feet wet and participating this year. Shock of shocks!

Of course, I'm such a noob that I have NO IDEA how any of this Yuletide stuff goes, so we'll see. :p

You should go for it! It's highly fun - and unlike any other fic exchange I've been a part of. There are enough fandoms that you are familiar with that you don't have to feel overwhelmed. Only offer to write in 3-4, that way you'll get matched only to something you really know.

I, on the other hand, will likely offer 40-50 fandoms, because I'm insane about yuletide. ♥
