BTW, THANK YOU for all the congratulations and love on the last post! We are really happy and excited about next school year, and I can't wait for our trip to Florida in about a week

Oh I think it shows great promise. I think James Badge Dale is one of the best actors out there and am shocked he didn't receive a nomination for The Pacific. I think Rubicon has a better start because it's on a network that produces great shows. What did you think?
I don't know if you've seen it but it wouldn't hurt to add Summer Heights High to your list. It's eight episodes and with each one I was in fits of laughter.
Oh! And It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is great too.
Why are the UK versions so much better than the US versions? I stayed with the show here in the US for as long as possible, but it was utterly boring toward the end. Too bad!
Have fun with your list... how many more weeks until school?! Oh, and your trip... enjoy that Florida sun!:D
I agree. Why do US companies even try? I think more and more, with cable, that they should just purchase and run the original shows (like with Merlin on NBC/SyFy). I really hear that the UK version of Life on Mars is spectacular, though.
It's really super fun! Looking forward to S3. Did you see the sneak peek? Or the sultry reading of a "Richard Castle" book that Nathan did at Comic-Con?
I've always meant to watch the IT Crowd but never got around to it. I'm watching Spaced at the moment, which is similar (Simon Pegg + geekdom = awesomeness). I love Castle (got the meet the cast at Comic Con!), and I watched the pilot of Cougartown but gave up. Do you think I should try again?
Spaced and IT Crowd definitely have a similar sensibility (except not as many fantasy sequences, and there's a laugh track). Awesome about meeting Castle's cast! They seem so FUN.
As far as Cougar Town, I would watch up to ep 5. If you still aren't enjoying it, it's probably not for you. As it is, I find it likable, but not squee-worthy.

This season of True Blood has been pretty slow tbh; the last episode picked things up a bit and I do hope it stays that way.
I'm kind of over Mad Men. It's become The Draper Show and I couldn't care less about Don or Betty. I love Joan, Pete not so much Peggy though.
