Seriously, having a MAJOR geekgasm over how amazing this looks! Although, I keep thinking about the fact that my lonely little fic (which also uses sound effects in the text like the movie does, and I didn't know that it would when I wrote it, score!) will stop being the only one in the category at ff.net very soon ( Read more... )

I know next to nothing about Scott Pilgrim and I HIGHLY APPROVE of this movie. Mainly because of the sound effects text.

It's really cute and funny. Meet cute kids plus awesome supporting cast plus sound effects and treats Scott's life like a video game. (Did you hear the "K.O.!!" in the background of the one shot?)

YES. I loved that MOST of all! If someone says "Finish Him" or "Flawless Victory!" I may squee aloud.

I've been following the production of this movie before I ever knew who Edgar Wright was, lol. But yes, that guy! :D

And REALLY, the graphic novels are KICK. ASS. The trailer is SOOOO faithful to the spirit of the story! ♥♥♥♥♥

I can't ever remember seeing a movie do that! But in order to stay true to the book, they pretty much had to. If you read them, you'd see. :)

Brandon is the blond guitar/bass player with the glowing eyes, who says "Bingo."
